Claudio Massimo Paternò graduates in 2000
as an actor from the Drama School of University Theatre Centre – Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria (CUT-TSU) at which he works till 2004 as tutor of the professional courses. Under the supervision of Roberto Ruggieri (Artistic Director of the CUT-TSU) carries out a research work on Asian performing arts that will take him to practice some aspects of the No theatre, Indonesian and Indian dances.
At the same time he starts in-deep study of Theatrical Biomechanics of Meyerhold with Master Gennadi Nikolaevich Bogdanov  (his teacher also at the CUT-TSU). In 2003 specializes from International school of Theatrical Biomechanics of Mime Centrum of Berlin. Exactly in this occasion Claudio Massimo Paternò and Master Bogdanov decide to collaborate and to found the International Centre of Theatrical Biomechanics in Perugia.

Since 2004 Claudio Massimo Paternò assists to Master Bogdanov during the sessions of work  that CISBiT organizes every year and during the demonstrations of work in Italy and abroad.

As a teacher organises every year in Perugia the Introductory Courses of Theatrical Biomechanics of Meyerhold. It has been a guest at the University of Aarhus (Denmark), University of Rome La Sapienza, the University of Arezzo, Federal University of Porto Alegre (Brazil), the International Festival of the Actor (Naples) and National Congress UILT of Milan.Collaborated with the department of Theatre Anthropology at the University of Perugia and Russian Language and Literature department at the University of L'Aquila.

Since 2006 works as an actor at the Teatro Stabile of Innovation - Fontemaggiore of Perugia. Performing in different shows for children.

Since 2009 works as an actor at the Teatro Stabile of Innovation CRT of Milan with the show “George Dandin” .

Since 2000 as a director works with the company Micro Micro Teatro Terra Marique and other companies as Studio Obraz, Art Niveau and MiniTeatrò.
With the show “The Night Fairies” was nominated 3 times at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival (best text, performance and production); with the show “Terremoto” won the "Nutrimento emergenze contemporanee 2009" award in Terni, the prize for best monologue "Giovani Realtà del Teatro 2009" in Udine and get a second place in the national competition  "MarteLive 2010" in Rome; with the show “L’Arte della fuga”  won “In-Itinere 2011" award in Marsciano (Pg).

He edited the translation of the monographic "Meyerhold" by B. Picon-Vallin adopted in various courses in Italy, in collaboration with prof. Fausto Malcovati (University of Milan).
